Because of its architecture, the settlement itself is a unique sight that gives the visitor the opportunity to walk through picturesque narrow streets and under the stone arches of the village, that end in the central square. The main gate of the settlement, “Tou Gurou i Porta” as it is called, and the perfectly preserved round tower, are points that must definitely be seen.
In addition, the Churches of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (village chapel) and Agios Dimitrios with its wood-carved icon screen are excellent examples of Byzantine art. A great attraction is the bust of the Patriarch Constantine the fifth, who originated from the settlement.
